Geoseph will teach you the art of dragee. That is, coating nuts in chocolate. Sounds simple enough, but there a few techniques to learn (and a few additions to make them delicious). A gourmet snack or the perfect refreshments for your dinner guests. We will learn a very simple method which can be repeated at home.
We will:
Learn to temper dark chocolate using the seed method
A demo on how to candy your own nuts
Prepare and coat 2 kinds of nuts
We will package them in cello bags (or bring your own small containers/bags if you prefer)
Recipes and instructions to take home will be included
If you don’t like dark chocolate, you may enjoy this. It is not bitter and with the nuts will be quite decadent.
Ingredients used will include nuts, dark chocolate, sugar, butter, and spices.
